Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He was only a small thing when he was 'saved.' He was flying to his nest, fighting the fury of a storm that had come from nowhere, when the gray attacked. She had taken him to the pale, small things-humans, he would learn they were called. They had told him he was beautiful. They had clipped his wings...
They put him in a place that had everything; food, trees, water. But he could not reach the sky, but kept bumping into something hard he could not see. He learned that was glass. The gray had told him; she was his only companion, and their friendship grew stronger with every day.
He was grown when the storm came, and the glass shattered. He felt the wind touch his wings, wings that had healed, been kept hidden.
The gray had not known what to do, and the humans were coming. She had been caught as he had, knew no other way...
He told her to come with him. And she had come, and they have lived wild since, the two masters of the sky, bound by no chains, but united in freedom by love...
