It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Armed with both a bad attitude and a bad set of whiskers, this male never wanted anything so much as he wanted freedom--and the stuffy social atmosphere of his esteemed family never gave him that. Running into the wilderness at a young age, he lived as a scoundrel for many years, breaking hearts and doing hard jobs every step of the way... until, for the first time in his life, he began to miss good company.

It was then, on a whim, that the Putz Band was formed--a group of rebel purple dragons with this male at its head. Taking in a greedy prankster, a dim-witted bodyguard, and finally an estranged young female, the band wandered the world singing bizarre but oddly appealing music to earn their keep. It was a rough but happy way of life, but eventually it ended; a sorceress had invited a whole slew of purples to live alongside her, and Drimore thought it would make a better living for the crew. He was right, but he does sometimes miss the action and escapades of the cities.
