Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many mistake Aloisia for a male dragon; she's the largest, most muscular Black in the Flight, and there's not an ounce of femininity in her. Her personality is rough-and-tumble, and her rough speech and acidic tongue make it hard for others to approach her. She always has her guard up in public, and there's only one thing that brings out her secret gentle side—small birds. During her sleepy days, she sits so still that small songbirds rest on her, a smile on her face.

Her love of birds meant that one person saw her hidden smile, the Silver Chandranath. Rather than teasing her like she would expect, he offered her a clawful of birdseed to feed her friends. The two began to feed birds together frequently, sometimes even nursing fallen baby birds to health. They had both always felt no one could understand them—and, finding themselves wrong, they became mates. Perhaps they each came second to the birds, but it didn't matter. They've since begun raising their own little baby, Tsipora.
