Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This lovely dragon is the sole mate of the leader's youngest son, Neau.  Due to this "high" position, Reine has a slight attitude problem, believing that she should immediately be respected and well-liked.  Therefore, she puts little effort into her attempts at making friends.  Most of the other female dragons do not care for her presence and always wonder how a sweet dragon like Neau ended up with a snob like Reine.  The other male dragons do not have much of an opinion of her, but continue to speak with her since many of them find her beautiful and use talking to her as an excuse to gaze upon her without facing Neau's wrath.
