Despite their great size and strength, Celestial Dragons are a peaceful breed named for their spectral, starry appearance. Little else is known about them, as they spend the vast majority of their lives partially phased out of the plane of existence through the use of powerful magic. Celestial Dragons are thought to assume their corporeal form only long enough to reproduce or to die; the rest of the time, they resemble living, breathing constellations, impervious to all physical and magical harm.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sanificae came to Milosz3107 when he came back to the cave from a walk and saw a mysterious, translucent egg in the nursery. He assumed that it was left behind by a trusting mother and put it down as 'stolen'.

When she hatched, Sanificae usually scared the other youngsters with her ghost-like appearance, but as they got to know Sanificae they slowly got used to her appearance.

Sanificae doesn't currently have a role, as she often ventures outside and beyond, in search of her mother.
