Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being laid as an egg then abandoned, Stephinrye was then taken in by a brood of Spitfires. Tired of her peaceful nature, when Stephinrye grew wings, the Spitfires abandoned her as well. Being abandoned once more after that had made Stephinrye believe there was something truly wrong with her. She fled to a chasm and made it her refuge. From the bottom, she can gaze up at the stars and wonder why this happened to her. Sad and resentful, Stephinrye desired to take in other unwanted dragons. She adopts abandoned hatchlings and explains to them that their parents didn't want them. This unintentionally stirs up anger in the dragons but they gradually began to serve her as their queen. Shortly after, Stephinrye had ran into Tyberius and they became mates. While Tyberius promised he loved her, he had his own agenda. Seeing all the abandoned dragons, Tyberius secretly got them to sway into his beliefs. Stephinrye never knew they would thirst for revenge against the clans that abandoned.
