Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lanterne Caches, or as he prefers to be called, Lance, has a unique past. He was discovered deep inside the darkest regions of the Grotte De Cristaux, by Patchouli Knowledge, on one of her explorations to map the cave. Lance was surprised, as he was licking a rock for nourishment, like he had done his whole life. Patchy was just as surprised, because Lance was glowing! He had learned the art of bioluminescence out of necessity. If he didn't have some way to see he would surely die. It is unknown how he got in the cave. He has an outgoing, brave personality. His job is to harvest the rocks that he had fed on and explore the cave, far beyond where any other dragon could go.
