Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tyto Album was walking through the forest on a frosty autumn day when he was captured by a powerful silver net. Unable to escape, he was dragged into a stone dungeon where he spent the next two years. He was hungry, lonely, confused...

One day he discovered a seemingly ordinary stone in the wall to be very special indeed. He used it to bend the metal bars that had imprisoned him for oh so long. He killed every human he could find, his burst of rage uncontrollable.

He decided to break into all the human dungeons he could find, killing any guard or person in sight and freeing the imprisoned dragons. He's been doing this for years, and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon.
