Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rhodolythia HeartBond (after the gemstone: Rhodolite Garnet) joined the clan cave as its 96th member at the start of a very special time within the clan cave. Just before the dawning of the spring thaw, many humans celebrate the reawakening of life and love, paying tribute to an ancient symbol of heart and home. Among dragon kind, none express these ideals more than the rare and iconic Saint Valentine breed. Although moderately timid and shy, Rhodolythia stands tall and proud among the clan dragons as the epitome of love and commitment, and presides over ceremonies of mating and dragon bonds. It is said that one touch from the heart-shaped tip of her tail will all but guarantee a union of love that will endure for all time. Normally reserved for dragons alone, some believe that should she gift a human marriage with her blessing, their bond would grant them eternal life and love together, the closest any human could ever come to the immortal existence of dragon kind.
