Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Dragon" and "Ocean Flying" in Japanese. Fitting, although he will never fly through the air, he does fly through the water. He is VERY fun loving and mischievous, him and Yoshii used to squirt the other dragons with water, until Kentaro made them stop. He loves to listen to music as well, and is a fairly good singer, although he sometimes forgets the words. Since his mother and father couldn't keep him, he was raised by Kentaro and Kiyomi, who love him very much. After a one night stand with Eri, he was left to raise his daughter Sazanami, since both of them had to stay near water while Eri did not. He also adopted and raised Mizuru alongside Sazanami. He all of his kids, and is very proud of all their decisions. When he met Kasumi though, he knew that he had found the one. After a wonderfully sweet courtship, he asked her to be his mate. She agreed, and they're still as madly in love as when they first started.
