Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Wynter Froste got her name from where she came from and her look. Since she came from the Alpines, she got the first-name Wynter. She got Froste from her icy look. Her previous name was Wynter Frostshard, but because she and Violette weren't the same breed, it was changed to Wynter Froste. She loves to fly with her friend, Violette Sharde. She is very good at hide and seek, as one can probably guess. She loves the cold, and is mates with Prince Taffy, King Jackson Marii and Queen Pixa's son.
