Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Syrno is the odd one out among the Karev Entertainers.  Stat-Wald may heckle and Sket might have his occasional conflicts with Mivvit, but Syrno's the only member to be openly disdainful of the show, calling the performers weird and the acts bizarre.  Pompous and overbearing, he declares himself the arbiter of taste and culture for the show (though his knowledge of the latter is greatly lacking) and is fond of giving speeches illustrating some shortcoming of modern society (only to realize belatedly that he too possesses said fault).  For all his complaining, Syrno stays on, and perhaps it does the show good to have a self-proclaimed moral compass.  Syrno seems to completely lack a sense of humor, which paradoxically makes him quite funny indeed.
