Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aomotea has one of the most beautiful ice-caves in Laura-Lana's clan. She has inherited a great artistic talent from her parents, who are part of the Moonsilver Artists' Association. Her focus is not music, but ice sculpting. If she gets silver or gold into her claws, she likes to fashion jewelry for dragon wings and tails. Aomotea will trade some of it, but she uses most to decorate herself in ever changing patterns.

Time will show if Aomotea has inherited her parents love for hatchlings, too. So far she seems uninterested in them.

She was adopted into Laura-Lana's Clan early in her life, and while she still visits her parents, she isn't as close to them as she could be.

Rumor has it that her parents wanted her to join Laura-Lana's clan, because they were worried about the influence her older sister Bankraeuberei might have on her.
