Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Hwaina was frozen as a hatchling because she was dying at a young age. Sherepta1 didn't want her to die from the lack of maturity, so she froze her. Hwaina became a low-ranking member of the Uncita clan for failing many things, which includes tests and hunting. Three Vine Dragons from the clan, (Shaaka, Realasama, and Itsakilar) spend a lot of time with Hwaina because of her stupidness. Yeah, that's right, Hwaina is stupid. Shaaka teaches Hwaina about the clan, Realasama teaches her about nature, and Itsakilar teaches her about hunting. However, it seems like Hwaina isn't learning anything. Other than that, Hwaina is a VERY stubborn dragon who often makes big mistakes.
