Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hassef was once the cave leader. He was strong, level minded, fair in all his judgments, and a kind hearted spirit, and that trend continued until his mind became tainted with thoughts of greed, lust, and power. Discretely, Hassef would wander out of the cave in the deepest part of night and steal gold from humans and other dragons. He claimed any female dragon of age as his own personal mate, and plotted wars against other clans, but the other dragons disagreed with his ruling, and, lead by a purple dragon, was overthrown and deemed unfit to have any sort of power. And now, he remains in his dark corner, hiding from the others in shame.
