Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

DayDreamr is one of those dragons whose name fits their character precisely. She's the smiling girl getting comfortable on a cloud, floating throughout the world around her, watching the time flow by like a long entertaining play. She hopelessly imagines life the way she exactly wants it, and she constantly deludes herself from the obvious truths, even when they shout out at her directly in the face.

The sad part of it all is that she has many goals, many wishes, many desires, many "dreams," some may even call them... And the most efficient way for anyone, anyone at all, to truly achieve their goals and dwell in their fantasies in true reality, or to experience that long-awaited love and harmony... Is to wake up.  DayDreamr is one of many dragons, one of many animals, one of many souls, who just can't open their eyes.

On the other hand, perhaps it isn't worth it in the first place. Maybe life is easier lived with your eyes sealed shut. Ignorance is innocence. How can this be...
