Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tectonic Shiver is mellow. After hearing Helicatrea's lovely singing voice, he decided he wanted a musical hobby for himself. After many tries, he crafted a huge, strange instrument made of claw-carved stone and tautened deer sinew: a dragon-scale version of a small lute, which he saw a human playing outside the cave once. (He ate the human and the lute soon after, an act he still regrets—well, eating the lute, at least.) The young dragons delight in his music, and he hopes to be able to teach one of them to play one day, although most of them are more interested in eating the sinews than actually playing the lute.
