Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skwell is incredibly talented in magic by nature (well what a surprise considering his breed and pure heritage). So much so that as a hatchling he caused the random magical effect from time to time. Once one of his spells hit another hatchling, hurting the little one and sending him into a frenzy (it was a Hellhorse after all) which resulted in many more wounded, including Skwell.

Ever since that day he is afraid of magic in general and his own especially; far too afraid to learn to properly control it. He lives close to the Cassares' resting place and trembles in fear at the mere thought that some crisis might demand all of their presences at once, leaving him completely helpless to his own magic.
