Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight Dreams was born to two very fierce and loyal black dragons. They told her many stories as she was an egg and then when she was a hatchling. However, when she was just a few days old she was sent off to live within Rekha's lands as one of Rekha's first dragons ever held. She soon began to care for Rekha in many ways as her Guardian and Keeper, and then when she grew up, she soon became a watcher of Rekha's lands, her young, and Rekha herself. She is waiting for the day to come when she may find just the right mate, to settle down with and start her own family.
