Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With a father spending most of his time sweeping dirt out of the main caves with a bundle of twigs despite being one of the two most powerful dragons in the area, and a mother who seems to just hide in her lair while really commanding her own web of spies, Lord Viper knows that looks can be deceiving. And he uses this knowledge to the fullest extent.

Many believe him to be the most powerful Avatar in the clan when all he ever really did was casting a spell to make his tendrils grow, signalling to everyone that he was the top-dragon without actually possessing anything other than slightly below average powers.
