Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Nonninoe of the Spring Dragons. Though she was never able to grow up, she perfectly embodies the season she was born to: Her voice is the courting call of the blackbird and her scales shine to rival the brightest colours of Spring. She loves to sit in trees and watch birds' nests. There is something magical about her, too, as the people say who live near the grove where she dwells. She was abandoned as an egg in the earliest days of spring. Her mother did not recognize the egg as hers, as she was a Magi dragon, nor did the father who was a Winter dragon. The first sunbeams were strong enough the let Nonninoe hatch, but there was neither enough warmth nor enough food to enable her to grow up. She would possibly have died if the people living in the area had not come and brought her food. They also gave her the name which, of course, comes from a spring poem by the most famous of English writers.
