White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Milla learned the hard way that white dragons are better at healing others than themselves, particularly while they are still in the egg.  Milla's egg suffered an unfortunate accidental dropping that resulted in the poor baby dragon hitting her head.  As a hatchling, it became apparent that Milla could not recognize nor remember her parents. Her father, Ysiel Star, and her mother, Zada Xylia, were very distressed because of this, but their keeper, Meyoline, came up with a solution. She named the young and confused dragon Milla Ysiel-Zada Star so that she would not only continue on her family's name, but also to help the poor young dragon remember her parents. Milla still suffers from episodes of short-term memory loss sometimes, but she has gotten much better about acknowledging her parents.
