Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
A quiet, tiny scrap of a vampire, this one's parents did not cast her out of the nest after she was attacked and turned, but rather cared for her as best they could; since they were both nocturnal dragons themselves, this was a bit easier to do. Her parents feed her with their own blood, but despite this she still tends to bite when excited or startled, a habit of hers that has only made her adoptive sibling hate her further. She loves snow, and will play in the white drifts for hours, unaffected by the cold that numbs the living.
