Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Black Moon is a rather picky dragon, but she is more graceful then unpleasant. She loves the look of a full moon and during a "black moon," as she calls a new moon, she curls away in her part of the cave, away from the other dragons, so they will not see her fear of new moons. She is a warrior dragon. Black Moon

was the first, and for a long time, only female dragon on Goblaze's scroll, resulting in her being a "hard to get type" dragon.

Black Moon comes from a big family cave. Before she could remember, her egg rolled to a scroll titled 'goblaze.' When she was just maturing, goblaze let her go outside and see the real world. She was still that curious young hatchling though, as she wished to discover something no dragon has before. She wondered about and suddenly froze. There was a strange cave in front of her. It was very familiar to her. She soon realized she found her family cave. From that day on, she has snuck out to that cave almost everyday.
