Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Val is very friendly for a Flamingo. She has this ditzy yet innocent air to her that makes her very attractive. She is known to make friends easily and make such friendships last, even when her complicated family makes them lackluster and often confusing. Though she is very social and can very easily find playmates, Val is closest with her cousin, Romance. The two will often come together to chatter over just about anything, though, mainly, their conversations are about romance. Both of them have a deep love for stories of romance, chivalry, heroics, and the like. So, naturally, living on an island with such a diverse population of characters, they tend to apply their fiction to the residents and ship them constantly. As fun as it is for them, Romance tends to take it way more serious than is necessary. She actually wants to be a matchmaker and pair dragons off with their true loves. Unfortunately, she is horrendous at this in practice. But, nevertheless, Val cheers her on.
