Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ruby is a rather loud example of his species- probably because he's deaf in one ear. For this reason he doesn't have all that many friends amongst the cave but those he do have don't seem to mind all that much. (Probably because they are also becoming deaf.) He is a very affectionate dragon dispite his shortcomings and is always defensive of the little ones. Ruby loves apples and truffles, sadly prefering to eat them rather than sniff them out and give them to the human who frequents the cave, and is suspected of eating a very large fortune in truffle and apple alike.
