Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A certain scroll owner loved dragons very much and collected them meticulously--naming and bonding with each and every one. However, though she had several favorites among her magical reptilian friends, she longed for a partner dragon--one who would always be by her side.

She spent many hours daydreaming about what kind of dragon would make the greatest best friend, but ultimately she had to admit that she really didn't know. Finally, she simply set out to find her friend, and the Olive dragon was her vehicle. Thus, Loewe came to be.

Loewe (pronounced LOee) is his master's constant companion. The two share a deep understanding and accept and enjoy each other's quirks. Moreover, numerous close calls with Loewe's poison have rendered his master more-or-less immune to Olive poison, so she has little fear of being poked nowadays. It's a good thing, too, because Loewe loves to pounce on her when greeting her.
