Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has long toes, and likes to wander around on lily pads.

And look! Its toes have grown longer and developed webbing! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

When this little waterwalker was an egg, his previous owner abandoned him to die. His new owner had taken the egg but treated almost the same way. Grow was left in a lab room for five days. Once Grow reached zero days, the people in the lab went through strange experiments. They thought the egg would die, seeing Grow hadn't made any cracks until the last minute. However, Grow's owner hadn't lost hope! It miraculously hatched in the last second of its life. From the experiments, something had gone wrong that Grow couldn't age anymore. The little waterwalker has been named Miracle Grow.
