Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aureus Dae belongs in Torva Servo, having been born a member of the Ferox clan. Dae was one of the ones who accompanied Glac back to their tame, pussy cat cousins. For this is how the harsh, dramatic female sees them.

With her brightly colored feathers ever fanned out, Dae is know in Ferox for her pride. She has the most unrelenting will among them. It is advised never to challenge Dae at anything, for even winners will receive constant badgering for a rematch afterwards till they are either too tired or surrender.

Dae's title as Aureus entails her the right to go where ever she pleases and the wild clan will openly accept her return every time. For Aureus means golden in their speech.

But even as Aureus, Dae could not deny her attraction to Blu, Glac's greatest enemy. His confidence has won her over and she has no intention of leaving any time soon.
