Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Derosa is a dreamer, with a perspective of life some often claim is as tinted with the same coloring as her scales. It came to no surprise to anyone else in the De Clan that she ended up with Depurez, a young White dragon who shares her love of seeing the good in all things and the good they can do if their dreams were to come true. While their union was practically a fairy tale in how well everything has turned out for them, it does have its ugly points; one of their eggs ended up dying on them, for one, and they still struggle to make their place known in the De Clan by the other dragons just because they still look fairly youthful—full-sized hatchlings, as one dragon put it. Still, Derosa struggles on, doing every little bit to do her part for her clan while currently tending to the last of her current brood, hoping one day it'll grow up be yet another dream made a reality.
