Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Morganitriod GentleSway (after the gemstone: Morganite) is the 46th dragon of the clan cave, and his hatching was quite a surprise to the Clan Mother. He is a gentle being, with a very kind soul, and he enjoys working in conjunction with Morganendruil to care for and watch over the egglings of the clan. Unlike her, however, Morganitriod does not sing songs of feminine encouragement; instead, he focuses his attention on the development of more masculine tendencies. In addition, he spends time working with the hatchlings, providing guidance and support to their growing personalities as best he can. When not engaged in such activities, he spends his time in quiet, still contemplation, often appearing as if in a distant trance. While he expresses no aversion to company, he does not seem to seek attention or companionship from other clan members either. The single exception to this is where it involves Morganendruil, of whom he seems to secretly, albeit respectfully, pine for.
