Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chinmoku was found by Tsukiune Mikadzuki in the woods, sick and very weak. She nursed him back to health, and in that time, they grew to love each other. She asked him to join her one-dragon clan, and he immediately accepted, becoming the second dragon in Tsukiune's cave. He is gentle with the hatchlings and eggs, caring for them attentively. He is highly protective of the clan, and stands guard over the cave with the Guardian Dragons, and taking the duty into his own claws during severe storms when the other dragons take shelter inside the cave. He and Tsukiune are mates, and she occasionally sits guard with him, providing company on those stormy nights. He has a strong dislike for the Vampire dragons of the cave, believing them to be dangerous for them all, but he believes Tsukiune has good enough sense, so he sides with her when she says they are good dragons, despite his personal opinion and natural instinct.
