Ridgewing Dragons live just below the snow level on the upper slopes of mountains. They are a friendly, playful breed and enjoy dancing in wind currents near their homes or plummeting down into valleys from great heights. Their wings, by far their most striking feature, grow in fin-like ridges along their backs. While their bodies lack markings to blend better with their surroundings, a ridgewing’s wings have bright markings in the colors of the flowers that grow in their mountain habitat. Occasionally different-colored individuals can be found, but they are rare because their striking coloring offers little protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As an egg, Peanut Butter was abandoned in a pile of other eggs and picked up by the human who would take care of her until adulthood. In adolescence, Peanut Butter was jokingly named what she is after her Silver dragon mother, who was named after an obsession with jelly. The human owner found it rather humorous that Peanut Butter, who does like peanut butter, should be named like her mother. Her father wasn't named—yet.

Awhile later, the owner of Peanut Butter went to show the family of the dragon to a friend of hers, and both the owner and the dragon were in for a big surprise. Peanut Butter's father was named after the owner!

After that incident, the owner went into hiding with the dragon and they now spend their days in an underground cave eating peanut butter and saying that the stalker will go away. Though all Peanut Butter really does is laugh at her owner, since it was her turn to laugh. Besides, someone would choke if they're laughing and eating peanut butter at the same time.
