Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Imperzius HonorGild (after the gemstone: Imperial Topaz) joined the clan cave as its 221st member, marking a day of celebration for the Mystal Clan. He is a proud and noble dragon who seems to radiate with a coppery brilliance both in form and personality. The Clan Mother accepted his egg from a nearby clan whose caretaker, the Lady Hellen, hoped to secure an exchange; his egg for one of Seraphintias future offspring. This arrangement was not made lightly, nor without the council and input of both she and the clan elders! After careful and lengthy consideration, all agreed that such would benefit and strengthen both clans, and thus, Imperzius came to be a Clan Mystal dragon. He has taken to his new home well, and has developed a rather strong affection for Onyxreah, and although her devotion to her warrior nature often seems to leave him more than a bit frustrated, he is devoted to her none-the-less, and hopes one day to continue his shimmering lineage with offspring of his own.
