Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skydd Skycloud is a very skilled flyer, but too shy to actually show anything that would make him more than ordinary in the eyes of other dragons. Because of that, Skydd would rather avoid all confrontations than actually going to battle with any of his kind. He hates fighting and will do anything to get away from violence.<br/>One day, Skydd was under the impression he was all alone and, unhampered by the fear of being watched he glided through the skies, this time unafraid of being more than ordinary. However, when he soared past a cloud, the most beautiful female he had ever seen appeared. Skydd immediately dived behind a cloud, too shy to come near, but a gentle and soft voice eventually convinced him to show himself. It was at that point that he met Megara, who seemed to have fallen in love with him, and they have been together ever since.
