Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BrokenTinsel is a Silver Tinsel Dragon who can't have the only thing he wants: offspring. He is inbred, and this has rendered him sterile. He's so embarrassed of his defect, and he thinks this makes him worth less than other dragons. BrokenTinsel is really the only one who feels this way, most dragons in his cave don't see him as any different. He can be really nice, but he doesn't make friends easily. He actually spends a lot of time sulking around feeling sorry for himself. But lots of dragons in his cave feel sorry for poor BrokenTinsel.
