Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Joy isn't really sure what to make of the world. He doesn't remember his parents and is fairly sure they abandoned him as an egg. However, what he does know is that he doesn't trust any humans, not even his caretaker. Joy tries to fly as little as possible. He will wait until his wings have unbearable cramps, then he considers flying. When he does go out flying, he tries his best to keep from losing any feathers. He's terrified of being hunted for what he is, and it almost takes over his life.
