Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
The last rays of the dying sun sunk behind the last buildings and the city was covered in shadow. Frozen Til Sunset felt his skin melt from hard gray into the cool shade of a night blue. He stood up from his crouching position and stretched, his limbs sore from waiting there all day. He took flight soaring over the quiet city. This was the only time of day that he could come out and get away from this smelly noisy place. He flew farther and farther until the cool mountain breeze could be heard and felt and the tips of the trees tickled his claws. This is where dragons are supposed to be!! he thought wishing he didn't have to leave in the morning. He landed and the soft dirt filled his claws and laughed rolling around in the fallen leaves acting like a hatchling. Then he got up and shook off the access dirt. He looked up at the stars and wonder filled his eyes. He never got to see them and he loved to watch them...He blinked a few times and slowly his eyelids started to close....
