Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon represents and asks the eternal question of "Why is it always gone".

It, of course, means the cheese, and despite the amount of attempts there have been to answer this question, it still remains intact.

Why IS it always gone, this dragon is forced to still wonder about. It may never know.
