When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Teardrop is a wonderful friend, and a loyal companion to anyone who befriends her. Teardrop has never left the water, but she makes friends anyway. Though easily tricked or outsmarted, she is still an extremely nice dragon. She has never made a single enemy, and is never lonely, even the fish in her lake are her friends! Basically, any dragon that flies by her lake is soon captivated by her friendship. Fortunately, one of her friends blossom, who hangs out with her a lot, usually backs her up, since blossom is extremely smart. She is also a powerful dragon, and can blast foes several miles away with her power. Her disadvantage, previously stated, is her lack of wits. Though she can still talk, and is able to do whatever she pleases, any foe made by her could easily trick her into a trap. Hopefully she will only make friends.
