Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Striped Fall was named in the highlight of autumn, when the breeze rolled in from every direction and the leaves were only just now floating to the ground. Although she is rather an ancient being, she had always been a kind and naive soul, with a hint of curiosity. She is younger then most of the dragons in her pack, yet older then most other dragons from far off places. Her friends help her travel the world in search of new berries, one of her favorite items. She never plans to eat them, though, only collect. One of her white dragon friends, Protected, help her keep the berries fresh so she may collect them for centuries more.
