Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Leetle Ice Cube may be a winter hatchling but has anger issues. None of the other hatchlings want to play with him because of it. Leetle Ice Cube once swiped at another hatchling because the hatchling made fun of his temper. Other then his temperament Leetle Ice Cube has a big imagination. He dreams of fighting off wizards and catching his own prey by himself.
