Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A friend to all, and unmistakable in a crowd thanks to her many gold chains and charms, Felixa sometimes seems to forget she is a Vampire dragon. Despite being a dragon of the Legion, she never travels with any of their clans, instead wandering whenever the sun is weak, whether or not she has a particular end destination in mind. She is never alone, having at least one companion with her at all times, charmed by the bizarre luck that seems to follow her and anyone around her. Hunting will become plentiful, rain will never be more than a light drizzle, perfect for gathering drinking water- everything will just go right.

Felixa herself has no idea just why she is such a bringer of good fortune, but it has been useful. Aside from providing her with many willing subjects who will offer their own blood to satisfy her hunger, wealthier companions make regular offerings of gold and gems, feeding her even greater lust for items to add to her hoard.
