Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has large frills on its head.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
This little dragon's mommy is a water dragon. As such, she feels the need to impersonate her mother and will leap into any body of water she sees to try to swim. This poses a problem, however, as frill dragons were meant to live in the desert, not the ocean! But the clever creature has come up with a cunning solution to this. She puffs herself up and spreads her frills like her breed does when they are frightened, and then she can float happily about on the water like a float-earning her her name.
