Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Paranoid is like his name describes. Quite paranoid and apt to partake of fermented berries and fruits, he trusts very few other dragons. He is afraid they are all out to harm him in some way or to damage his shining beautiful scales that he is so proud of. Paranoid even has difficulty mating. He mated with a striped dragon, but they are already nearly harmless and gentle, so he had nothing to fear from her at all. He had the most trouble getting her to stop eating long enough to accept his mating advances.
