Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cynerik likes to think of himself as "the ruler of the night." In doing so, he often patrols the mountaintops each night. He even descends to the foothills on occasion, sometimes relaxing near a particular stream that he finds soothing. Cynerik is actually one of the few dragons to know Sutaki personally, often conversing with her when she's not hidden away inside her lair.
