Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A very long time ago, an energetic human raised dragons in a faraway desert. Though he raised many dragons, his favourite was a Pillow dragon whom he named Keeper of Fate for her uncanny ability to predict future events. Keeper of Fate was also useful in another way: her lovely fur. She was shorn once a month, and her fur was revered for making some of the best dragon cashmere in all the land.

One day Keeper of Fate was assigned another purpose: to breed. She was asked by her master to find a mate, and although the human would not have forced her had she not wanted to, she had the perfect dragon in mind: her friend Stwipey. Stwipey was enthusiastic at the idea of finding love, and since then, even though her human master has long since died and ages have passed, the two have remained companions ever since, and Keeper of Fate has found herself a new master. Her new master saw fit to bestow upon her a name: Puffball.
