Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Except for the occasional flicker of movement, it remains inanimate.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Housecat lives up to both her name and her species reputation by spending twenty-two hours of her more active days curled up in a particularly sunny spot. Often, she is mistaken for just another rock, and there was one incident of her being stepped on by a careless visitor not long after she first hatched. The hiss that she favored the one who did so with earned her a comment of "why, it sounds just like my cat" and her love of not moving made it clear that she wasn't a wildcat.
