Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Proculus Aurelius Dives Maximus (better known as Aurelius Maximus) had a strange upbringing. He never knew his father; he lived with a group of outcast dragons during his hatchling years (he was called Stripey Jud back then). They were uncivilized, but Aurelius, rather than adopting this lifestyle, went strongly against it.

As Aurelius Maximus matured, his desire to become powerful grew stronger. Finally, he ran away, seeking a better life. Soon after, he met a female dragon who shared his thirst for power. Inspired by old books from Aureliuss hoard, they gave themselves new names, carefully planning their forthcoming reign.

Aurelius Maximus and the female, Octavia Albina Dives Maxima, quickly rose to great power. Aurelius's intimidating nature, combined with Octavia's cunning, helped them to become one of the most feared dragon families. However, Aurelius and Octavia, believing that they had 'royal blood', obsessed over preserving it, leading to inbreeding in future generations.
