Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Many years ago, Swiss just used to be another block of cheese made by humans, waiting to be eaten and dreaming of a better life. One day, a magical storm blew by and transformed Swiss into a round ball. Rolling out of human hands, Swiss landed in a dragons nest outside. After a long two months in the cold winter snow, Swiss hatched into a cheese dragon. Her life changed for the better a she roamed the snowy mountains, eventually finding a home in the Crystal Clan.
